Bran Castle, Transylvania, a MUST visit in Romania

This was my second visit to Bran Castle and quite honestly, I think I have been lucky to go there on cloudy, grey days. The authenticity of the place is even more dramatic as the clouds hang around the towers and turrets of this magnificent fortress. Originally built to defend Transylvania the Castle is of course more famous now due to the myth created by Bram Stocker's Count Dracula. There is much to see and read about the history of the place and the tour of the Castle is exceptionally good value for money, though you can go a little photo-crazy at this place! One of my favourite shots is the picture taken from the lawns outside looking up to castle, perched on top of some imposing rocks.
